App updates

Publish new relay app versions from the dashboard.

You publish relay app versions from the dashboard; phones are offered the update automatically.

  1. Build the app (flutter build apk --release --split-per-abi in lokipay-mobile) or use the APK we provide.
  2. In App updates, upload app-arm64-v8a-release.apk, add release notes and choose whether the update is mandatory.
  3. Phones see a banner and a notification; tapping Update downloads the APK, checks its SHA-256 and opens the Android installer.

/download on your domain always offers the latest version (plus previous versions) for new phones.

Every update must be signed with the same key as the installed app, or Android refuses to install it. Keep the keystore safe.
